Every sum works both ways: 7 × 3 is the same as 3 × 7. Once you know the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 times tables, the only new ones are 7 × 7 and up. Remember 56 = 7 × 8 by counting 5, 6, 7, 8.
The ones to watch are 7 × 7 = 49, 7 × 8 = 56 and 7 × 12 = 84.
